Peter Martin's "In the P.M." Available at World Wide Jazz

Jazz pianist, composer and arranger Peter Martin released In the P.M. in 2005 that features bassist Reuben Rogers, drummer Greg Hutchinson and vocalist Erin Bode. Peter Martin has also released albums Something Unexpected and Set of Five. He has placed 2nd in the 1993 Thelonius Monk International Jazz Piano Competition and toured with Christian McBride. In the P.M. features eleven total tracks of which nine are arrangements done by Peter Martin such as Only In A Dream by Jessie Davis and You’d Be So Nice To Come Home To by Cole Porter.

Christian Jacob's "Contradictions: A look at the music of Michel Petrucciani Available at World Wide Jazz

In 2006, the Christian Jacob Trio released a cd titled Contradictions: A look at the music of Michel Petrucciani. This album features arrangements of the music of the late Michel ‘Petrucciani featuring French jazz pianist Christian Jacob known for his clarity and lyricism and has been honored as “Top Collegiate Jazz Soloist”. The trio who is known for their superb arrangements have been together since the mid 1990s that consists of pianist Christian Jacob, bassist Trey Henry and drummer Ray Brinker. The trio along with vocalist Tierney Sutton has come out with a few albums including “I’m With the Band”, which was nominated for a Grammy in 2005. Now they come together without the renowned vocalist in this wonderful recreation of the genius of Michel Petrucciani in this 11 track album.

Joe Locascio's "Close To So Far" Available at World Wide Jazz

A New York native and Chairman of Jazz Studies at Houston Community College, Joe LoCascio has amazed audiences with his brilliant, creative compositions and performances. His influence and expertise has given many students a chance to succeed in the field of music.

In Close to So Far that was released in 2002, represents one of the many recordings created by LoCascio. His melodic character is seemingly unlimited as it is transformed through the piano as a musical force. Releasing albums such as Marionette, In the City of Lost Things and Home, this album features Tim Solook on drums, Joe LoCascio on piano and John Adams on bass.
